Ms. Jones is the former Alpha Kappa Alpha International Parliamentarian, the 13th South Eastern Regional Director, and the first woman elected President of the NAACP Memphis Branch. She became a member of the LeMoyne-Owen Board of Trustees and was named Parliamentarian after having been the longest-serving National Alumni President in the organization’s history.

Bishop Marvin Frank Thomas, Sr. is the 62nd bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Prior to his election as bishop, he served as the seventh president/dean of The Phillips School of Theology (“The Seminary of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church”) at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia and the

Prior to his election as bishop, he served as the seventh president/dean of The Phillips School of Theology (“The Seminary of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church”) at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia and the pastor of the Good News Community CME Church in Lithonia, GA. While at ITC, Bishop Thomas also served as the Chair of the Council of Deans and an adjunct instructor.
