Ms. Jones is the former Alpha Kappa Alpha International Parliamentarian, the 13th South Eastern Regional Director, and the first woman elected President of the NAACP Memphis Branch. She became a member of the LeMoyne-Owen Board of Trustees and was named Parliamentarian after having been the longest-serving National Alumni President in the organization’s history.

While at ITC, Bishop Thomas also served as the Chair of the Council of Deans and an adjunct instructor.
